B230FT Engine seal removal tips wanted 700 1991

Howdy,
I'll be replacing the crank, cam and intermediate seals this weekend. The FAQs discuss seal removal tools, which I have bought a generic one from a parts store. When I last looked at these during the timing belt change, there seemed very little room to squeeze the hook end of the removal tool around the outer edge of the seal without scraping the metal it is seated in.

Is there a particular volvo tool I should order to avoid damaging anything, or do the generic ones fit?

Do I need separate tools for the larger crank seal and the two smaller ones?
Any removal tips not covered in the FAQ?

Thanks.
