muffler problem 200

hi...

so today walking back to my 89 240DL wagon i noticed the exhaust tip was pointed downwards about 45degrees rather than parallel to the car body.

I thought well this dosn't seem good..so i investigated at first hoping maybe the tip had loosened and needed put back.... no no such luck the rear muffler seems to be broken loose from the exhause pipe on the end coming from the center muffler /cat..etc

so... here's the question...how hard is it to replace the rear muffler (i know NOTHING...oh i mean nothing about exhaust systems)

is it something with a little guidance a inexperienced person could replace?

if not is midas a decent place to go have it looked at?

..etc...

thank you for any assistnace.

peace.
