I will be doing some exploratory surgery on my M46 gearbox soon.
An exploded view from a parts book would be very helpful. Can anyone lead me to one?

I have sources for many new parts for the earlier gearboxes (M4, M40, M41) but those sources do not carry parts for later models.

Are dealers the only route? I try to avoid the dealers because local experience has demonstrated that the parts counter is better at supplying blank stares than parts for 20 year old cars.
