1991 240 died at stop light and won't start ?!? 200

I admit I'm clueless but need just a little help & direction...

I was driving my 240 home and all was well when it just stopped at a red light. Engine did not cough, sputter, or make a noise...it just stopped. The radio, windows, dashboard, etc. where still lit but when I tried to re-start it makes little clicking like noises and nothing else. I put gas in to make sure the gas gauge didn't lie but still no start.

Can someone give me a little direction on what to check? And on the possibilities of what this could be?

Thanks!
Wendi
