Cracked dash pads and 5 speed wagons (long but worth it IMO) 200

Went to the (not so) local pick and pull yesterday to look for a dash for my 81 242, which looks like a relief map of the San Andreas Fault. I got two, both black, one (88)with a tiny crack off the speaker hole, then I saw and snagged another from an 85 that is Mint. I mean like new and I dont think it was a replacement judging from my uninstall. Point is, I saw at least 3 others that were unscathed, all 90's models tho. Does anyone know if the big knee bolster will fit in an earlier car, and therefore the dash also? They are different at the lower driver's side because of the bolster. Re the 5speed 245s- I've read here of their supposed scarcity, but I counted no fewer than six in this yard! Hmmm, maybe that's why they're scarce. Odd thing, I'd say about 90% of the 240's here had no or minimal accident damage, they were just left to die somewhere I think (We tow your junk car for free!) Ask me about the '80 GT!
