780 Hisitation 700 1989

I've got a 89 780 Bertone with the standard B230FT Engine, sweet car, awesome ride and the thing has always had amazing power, until recently. The last few weeks she's had real issues under heavy acceleration, issues meaning there’s a definite hesitation or hiccup if you will. If I let off the gas a bit it stops but when I push back down it starts again. It’s not so bad that you would notice if you were next to me on the highway but I definitely feel it.

I notice it the most when I commute to work I get on the highway on a hill in the truck lane so I nail it. Or I take a lot of back roads (only on the highway for 5 or 6 miles) and if I try and pass an 18 wheeler, it’s very tough. I know this could be a lot of things but any thoughts would be most helpful.

Thanks
