Starter intermittent problem 700 1990

Thanks for advising of the solution based upon cleaning of the ground wire – I agree electrical health is based upon quality grounding.

I placed a small alligator clip onto the starter switch wire going to the starter solenoid and ran it to a safe place near the battery. The ignition switch does not work – I get out and touch the jumper wire to the battery. I have not taken the time to wire in a second start switch.
