A/C RELAY..........WHERE DOES THE RED WIRE GET ITS 12V 200 1985

My A/C has not been working intermittently. When it does work, it cools fine.
I traced it down to the A/C relay not turning on.
I'm not hearing the relay click after the startup delay.

When the A/C doesn't work, the Idle will only be around 750RPM's. When the A/C works, you could hear the relay click after startup and the idle RPM's will be around 900.

I replaced the relay and when that didn't fix it, I started checking the wiring.
I don't have a book that shows the wiring schematic for the A/C.

This is what I know.....

The relay has four wires.
1) Light color wire that has a blue stripe. This is coming from the fuse box and I have 12v positive there with the key on.

2) Green wire that goes to the compressor. (good...I jumped it to the 12v and the compressor came on.

3) Black. Good ground

4) Red. Nothing there. Should be 12v positive to energize the relay.

Where does this red wire get its 12v positive.

Our forcasted temp today here in Houston is supposed to be 92deg. F.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
