steering shaft water leak 700 1988

thanks for all the feedback ..there was leakage from that bloody air vent cover but the main leak was coming from the bulkhead steering shaft bearing bracket...only a rubber foam gasket is used. USING A GARDEN HOSE for this test is very important because water also spills between bonnet and down the bulkhead (engine compartment) ...something that wouldnt happen if u pour directly in the air vent.i used black silastic ..slight overkill but wont never leak..dry carpet is now achieved :)
