Help w/volvo basics (shocks, wheels, tach. gauge) please 200

It isn't an MPG issue, the outer diameter of the 205-50-16 tire is identical to that of the original 14 inch tires. I haven't run this car hard enough yet to attest to the handling improvements, but I will post once I've finished building this beast. So far, I only have ten minutes of run time on it.

Keep in mind though that everything you can do to shorten the sidewall of the tire improves the responsiveness of the entire suspension system.
