Heater Control Valve / What's Good? 200

The heater control valve on my '93 is starting to queef out. The first sign of a problem was that the cabin was too warm even with the heat off. I went to tweak the heater valve stop set screw only to find a newer-style plastic heater valve buried under the heater box with a trace of wetness on it. So much for Swedish ingenuity and heater valves which never need replaced.

Of course, the price of the Volvo part made me shit, but I ordered it anyway because I feared getting something even worse from the aftermarket.

With four 240's to feed and care for, I feel fairly confident that I will go through this exercise again and I want to be ready for it. Can anyone recommend an aftermarket heater valve which is worth the trouble to install?

Thanks,
Rich
