Installing oil pressure gauge... 200

I could not find anything in the archives, so here goes...

I want to install an oil pressure gauge in my '83 245. If I get one of the Volvo 3 or 5 bar ones, do I need to change the sender... or will it work off the same sender the idiot light uses?

I have been looking for one in the junkyards, but no luck so far. Might have to resort to ebay.

Thanks.

-Josh
