The other third brake light - does it work? 200

Think cheap, and remember that older 240s had a 5-panel tail light.

The inner two panels were not there, instead there was a white vertical rectangle back-up light. That lower center spot had something in it, I don't remember what. My 1981 244DL is long-gone so I canna go look.

To redesign the housing, cheap would mean leaving as much as possible the same. Changing only to add the two full-size spots in place of the narrow vertical lens.

I really have no idea of why we have that lower center hole, the foregoing is just a SWAG.

Regards,

Bob
