I'm planning on letting go of my 1965 210. Thought I'd start off by letting everyone in this forum know in case there is interest among the enthusiasts. I'll probably contact some people locally (Olympia, WA) next, then maybe an Auto Trader add, and ebay will probably be the last option.
So here we go,
The body is in rough shape. There was some extensive bondo work done maybe 15 years ago and it is showing its age. The interior is also pretty rough. Okay enough with the bad news. Mechanically it is in pretty good shape for its age. As you may know it has sat for the last 6 months, and I just freed up the stuck clutch plate and drove her around yesterday.
I have done a bit of work to this car including: new brake cylinders on all wheel (no work on master), new rear brake shoes, new gearbox mount, recent carb (zenith) rebuild, brand new leaf springs and bushes installed, front suspension rebuild (this included metal bushes, all new rubber, rubber replaced with poly where available, king pins replaced).
THough you wouldn't know by looking at here I've spent a bit of time sprucing up the essentials. The next items on my list are/were steering box and idler arm rebuilds. That would take the slop out of the steering. And of course the body/interior.
If anyone is up for the challenge let me know / make offer. Also comes with a set of uninstalled rebuilt calipers if you want to convert to front disc.
