installing new door seals 120-130

I finished installing the new vent window seal and window/channel seals on my driver door. Wow, that was a challenge. I'm sure some of you would have had hints to make it go smoother. But it is done, looks reat and will be watertight.

Now, I have purchased seals for the doors. I removed the old rotting rubber and I can see the channel they go into but there must be a way to slide them in there easily. It is so tight for the new rubber.

How do you do it?
