Brake Rotors 200 1986

Hello,

My wife of 26 years informs me that I am getting carried away fixing this car.
When asked if I could drive her Ford, the response was well try not to get too carried away. So the rotors are getting pretty thin and a new set are in order.

Went down to get new rotora and had the following question asked, Vented or Non Vented? The Non Vented are cheaper and solid. The vented of course have two plates that are seperated by vanes. Inga my 86 245DL has vented Girlings in the Front.

The question is does vented vs non vented matter, and do you have a preference? Come to think of it, is there reason for solid vs vented?

Inquiring minds want to know,

Regards,

PT.
