heater control valve 200

Hello all, it's been a while.

Now that the weather is warm again I've noticed I still get nice hot air coming through the vents even with the temp slider all the way in the blue.

Time to change the heater control valve?

If so, does anyone know the difference between the 40 dollar Scan-Tech unit I can get from FCP or eeuroparts and the 150 dollar unit from IPD? I know Scan-Tech bashing is a favorite sport in this forum, but is there a real reason to avoid this particular product?
