544 B18 Motor Mount Brackets 444-544

Thanks to all for their input on my bracket dilemma. As it turns out, I found the answer, and my brother (who I did consult with) is on the endangered species list because of that. He is restoring a 123GT, and when I dropped off our shared engine hoist at his house today, I checked out his motor, sitting with his brackets installed, ready to go into the engine bay. The 120-130 series also have unequal length brackets, but you cannot make a mistake on them because they also have a forward angle to their design. The bottom line, for anyone facing this question on a 544 in the future, is that the shorter bracket does indeed go on the distributor side of the motor. Thanks so much to everyone that offered their help. As it stands, the OL HAWG's motor is now in place and we are one step closer to having it back in service. And thanks to the BrickBoard Forum. A donation is definitely on the way to the tip jar.
