'93 940 Door Panel Puckering? 900 1993

I saw in the 700/900 FAQ something about a problem with the door panels sometimes puckering. I was wondering what exactly that meant and how you would know if it is happening. One of the pins where the speaker grill fits into on the front drivers side door panel is sitting flush, if not lower than the door panel, causing the speaker grill to not be able to hook into it. I took the door panel off and the pin was in there just as its supposed to be, but it still is be sitting the same way.
