Solving engine block and head riddles 120-130

I picked up an extra set of cheapie digital calipers from my local Kragen Auto Parts for $20. I wouldn't trust them to more than +/-0.005, but they're pretty invaluable for non-precision tasks....

Speaking of which, what's with the array of Standard and Metric fasteners on these old cars? I just replaced the clutch master and slave, the bolts holding the master to the firewall came off with a 1/2" wrench, but the fittings on the line were 13mm and 15mm? There's 13mm hex heads in a number of places on the car. The bore on the slave was 13/16". The dowel pin connecting the clutch pedal to the master-clevis was 5/16", etc, etc...

Back on topic, I've got an old FI B20 head in re-buildable condition. I'm thinking of taking it to the VCOA Davis swap meet next month. Anyone have an idea how much this chunk of steel is worth?
