Anyone using mobil1 5W30 in summer? 700 1989

Greetings

I'm currently using mobil1 0W40 in my 740 for a few years now with good oil consumption. Recently exxonmobil introduced their mobil1 5W30 into the market. I'm thinking of making a switch to it.

I'm not sure how hot is the summer there. Here it's summer all year round with an average of 90 to 92 F with an occasional 100 deg F. IF going by the manual 10W30 isn't recommended for these ranges of temp but I'm guessing it's with dino and it might not apply with synthetics. Which Mobil1 do you use in summer and how hot is summer? Would it be safe for me to switch over?

Thanks in advance

Aslan
