1990 740 Idle prob.... 700

Hi, I have a 1990 740 GLE...t was runing just fine.. Today I start it up, and was going just fine...And then it just stoped...It will start up and run, but I must keep my food on the gas a bit so it will not die. When I come to a stop light, it will not Idle, it will just die.. When I put it in park it does the same...When I drive down the road it runs ok, but it will not idle...I must keep my foot on the gas all the time.....Anyone...Help please!!!!
