Can't Remove Sunroof Headliner!

I have read the FAQ's, and also referred to my Volvo green books. I put the sunvisor vent flap up and release the 2 rear headliner hooks. That much I've done. Then (from green book) "Pull car headlining down at rear of sunroof" and "at same time slide sunroof to rear to release catches at front"??? Can some one elaborate on this? How do you "release the catches on the front"? I have tried, but did not want to break anything by applying too much force. Is it supposed to snap off? Any pictures of the catches at the front?
