1991 240 - Air Bag, Control module & Clockspring installation 200

Hi to all.

I need some advice on the reisntall of an airbag, clockspring and maybe the electronic module.

I have installed the new clockspring. Everything is fine so far. It's aligned according to the instructions. I did not find 240 FAQs on brickboard about the airbag and other related components reinstall.

Do I need to replace the electronic control module along with the other hardware - the airbag was deployed in a minor fender bender. I am trying to make sure that I follow the right sequence to reinstall the parts so the new air bag doe's blow up in my facwe when I apply the battery power to the car again by hooking up the battery terminals.

Where is the electronic module located in the vehicle ?

I have all of the heardware including the module. Do I even need to replace the module after the airbag has been deployed ? I want to know if I have to replace the module to make everything normal again.

Also, I would like to know about the SRS "reset" ? Where ? How ? What steps ? Or a pointer to instructions somewhere on the WEB ?

The clockspring is brand new, the air bag and the elecrtonic module came out of the boneyard and apear to be in perfect shape.

I'd alos like to know how to "reset" the "Service Engine" indicator, the car runs perfect. I think the "service" may trip based on mileage. Is this right ?

Thanks in advance.
Larry
