I read something in my Bentley manual about my starting problems 200 1991

In this post:" http://brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?id=1060842 " I posted about how my car revvs high after I restart it after I've driven around for a while. (Example, starting my car up, letting the block warm up, driving it to stop and shop, turing the car off, getting groceries, starting the car again to have the car's RPMs jump for about 4 seconds when I 1st start it.) One of the bricksters said that this could be be cause of a leaky fuel injector, but I was reading in my Bentley manual today that the car may start weird because of a busted fuel sender unit...The funny thing is, that my 244 hasn't had a working fuel sender unit (as the gas gauge has never worked) since I got it a year ago. Could this be the culprit?
