compressing my head... 120-130 1967

Hello Zeek:

Far be it from me to give advice like some pro, but I just did this about four months ago. I have two bits of advice:

1) Did you replace the two rubber ring gaskets at the top of the water pump that mesh with the underside of the front of the head ? You will need to before you mash the beast down.

2) Make sure all of the bolt threads are free of debris and grit and they get a very very light coat of oil, enough to keep everyone moving but not so much as to bind things up and throw off your torque wrench readings.

Cheers,

Jeff Pucillo
