164 no start, no spark 140-160 1975

Thanks George,
I just checked the temp sensor and it reads 2500 with the garage temp at 62F. I also checked the wires that the mechanic fixed and the reading on those with the ignition off was 1500. These poor wires, after 35 years, the insulation is starting to crumble, they cannot be bent anymore.
The thing is, it ran for 30 minutes while driving it home. Now it is flooding and not appearing to fire properly. Not even a hint of trying to start in any cylinder. I keep wondering if I put the plug wires back in the proper order. I never removed the plug wires from the cap, and I did put the plugs back in the proper counter clockwise position: 1-5-3-6-2-4. I do get spark on #1 and #2, I didn't check the rest of them.
Perhaps I should unplug injector #1 and #3, nah, that wouldn't have any effect. The distributer wasn't moved either. Thankgoodness the battery is new.

Klaus
