Crank Sensor Question 200

My 90 240 is showing some classic crank sensor issues for past year. Like: intermittent hard start with timing off enough to stop starter motor from turning. Car runs fine once started and shows spark and fuel delivery even when refusing to start.

I replaced the crank sensor on this car about three years ago - but understand that Volvo updated these sensors over the years and I'm wondering whether the one I installed was the latest design. I'm told Volvo marked the different versions with a color-coded band on the sheath that protects the sensor wires. The band on mine is yellow. Anyone know which sensor this signifies?
