Mono tester sensor 200 1984

Greetings

So there is a reference to a mysterious inductive
sensor mounted to the back of the block
to which you can hook some sort of diagnostic tool
the Mono-tester for measuring the timing.

This is in my Volvo LH2.2 manual as well as the haynes manual.
Does anyone know anything about this?
part# maybe...
mounting location?
can I put one on my b23?

Thanks
Miguel
