1980DL 21e replacement engine for 1982GL 23e 200

I'm wanting to replace my 23e 1982GL245 motor with the motor(and gearbox)from my 1980DL244 21e.Both have the BW-55 auto.
Does anybody know of any conflicts between theses two? Everything looks the same to me,and both cars are the same lenght which suprised me.The twin extractor system being longer on the wagon is the only difference I see.
The 23e is using oil, however still goes great?? This motor has no flame-trap, no o2 sen. I believe the compression rings are good but the scrapper are gone.
