bleed screw question 140-160 1968

I am having trouble with the brakes on my 142 recently. After investing lots of time and money on the brakes, they still suck! I know there is air in the lines since the master cylinder level went up after driving. After going around the brakes. I could only find one leak on the left front upper inner screw. I took some bleed screws off of a 240 from a local pick n' pull- the threads look the same but the bleed hole is about twice the size (full circle instead of a half circle). Will this work on 140 front Girling Calipers?
