SMOKESCREEN! 900

92 960.

ok, im hoping that it isnt as bad as it looks, and also that you guys might have and idea whats wrong.

i have a 92 960. about 3 weeks ago, my motor out of no where started shooting smoke out the exhaust. (allot). drove it home and turned it off. looked for leaks and found nothing. started it back up and no smoke. this confused me, but i thought it might just have been some old oil that got dislodged and burned up. cut to today (about 3 weeks later). there was no smoke the last 3 weeks besides a small amount on first start up. i went to the auto cross track and on my first run it happens again. a HUGE amount of smoke came out of the exhaust as im going through the track. so i get stopped and check on the problem. no real leaks on the motor (maybe a few drops on the bottom of the motor. look at the exhaust and there is oil dripping from it. it will shoot out a cloud of smoke randomly it seems like. any ideas? maybe valve seals or rings? anybody ever have this problem? motor runs smmoth, just lots of smoke at times.

please help! otherwise i might have to swap a 350 into it which is way out of my budget.

thanks ALLOT!

jason
