Random stalling - help

Hi,

I got no idea. This happened a couple of months ago to my wife twice, but hasn't reoccured until yesterday.

Car will be powering along, then the engine cuts out. There is no gradual loss of power or strain. The engine just stops.

This happened to me yesterday, this morning and this afternoon. There doesn't seem to be a pattern, however, so I am unable to recreate it for a mechanic (which likely means $$$$). Very concerned as this is my daily driver and I use it to ferry my wife and kid.

I did pull off the connector to the AMM and noted that on the connector, there seems to be a contact missing (the one on the far left). I have no idea whether this is normal or not for my model (1992 940 Turbo).

Can anyone suggest a procedure to solve this problem?
