Best 444 Engine Color - Ford, Chevy or Volvo Red?? 444-544

Hi Tony:

Actually it was +24C yesterday up here in the far north; just a nice temperature for cruising around. That NOS 444 horn ring was a lucky find for someone, at a yard sale!

I used POR-15 engine paint on my B4B. It's a 2-stage process, but you must follow their instructions explicitly. The base coat is POR-15. The top coat is the actual color and it does brush on nicely. Unfortunately, their Buick Green was not close enough to the B4B green, even though their color chart seemed to indicate it was. I ended up buying the authentic Swedish engine paint from Swedish Treasures and a second tin when I visited Olof last year. This is a great product and has lasted well, even on my license plate!

My advice is to use a commercial degreaser, buy a small tin of grey POR-15, then go with the Swedish authentic engine paint.
