Solid motor mounts instead of liquid filled.. 700 1988

They're not as interchangeable as you'd like them to be. Rubber monuts are mounted at a 30 - 40 degree angle to allow side motion when the engine vibrates. The hydraulic mounts are vertical and physically longer.

Plenty of guys have modded their red blocks to get much more power than you might get by simply boosting the pressure a little (factory boost is 8.5 - 10 PSI). These are not a weak spot.
