Distributor shaft worn 200 1984

Hello all,

My distributor shaft is all worn out, lots of play side to side.

So I will soon be searching the pic-n pull for a replacement.

My 84 has the Volvo\Chrysler ignition with Bosch distributor, I know this was used from 83-88, with a mid year change in 85 to a distributor with a smaller shaft.

My question is am I limited to the 83-84 B23 distributor, or can I use any Bosch distributor 83-88, large or small shaft?
