No Start Flywheel Sensor?? 200

This may be a world-class stupid question, but I have no shame, I'll ask it.

Are you sure that the flywheel is the correct flywheel for a 90+ brick? Older ones would not have the magnets in them to trigger the sensor.

Did the test of the sensor consist of measuring the signal generated by the sensor as the engine cranks, or just checking resistance? Did the sensor lead catch any grief during the job? That lead is quite fragile and it has to have an intact shield because the signal is very weak.
