Yets it's another radio wiring question! 200 1986

First of all, what sucks worse on a Volvo. The famous cracked wiring. The cheap French Plastic that cracks on the door panels and on the center console. The cheap plastic gears in the speedometer or that Radio they put in those cars. Good thing they last forever and you can fix them. Kind of a Ying/Yang kind of balance in the world I guess.

Well today at I bought a new radio and choosing to leave the other issues for later. Have to find a mount kit for it, but hopefully Bap Geon can get it.

For the umpteenth time (and yes I should have written this down several times}, where is the stupid amp located. Only have two speakers in the front door (and the where do you mount the speakers in the back of a 245DL will come later). I cut the old connector off the old radio and have think I have the power and Gnd figured out. Blue with the fuse has to be power and the gnd has be the the three wires spliced in there. but I dug around, removed the center console and did not find a amp anywhere. Do I have an amp in a base model 86 245DL? I think the red wire would be used for a power antenna if Inga had one. But I need guidance on connections oh fellow members of the BB.

What goes where and where the is that amp located if Inga has one.

Thanks in advance for you assitance and looking forward to having a CD Player and a real working radio.
