84 Volvo 244 Turbo ( Acceleration issues ) 200

I bought a 84 244 Turbo from a dealer that has 117k orig miles.
The car looks like a gem like it was froze in time. near mint.
I been driving the car for the past two day and I did a inspection
on the engine harness....whoa mercy! crumble crumble! I did a minor
fix by cutting the crispy loom and taping the bare wires. Anywho
The car ran great before and after the repair. I also cleaned the
pcv valve and line kinda dirty but not clogged. The car had great
power this morning when going to work. After work the car was sluggish
and coughing at yellow boost levels. There is a small leak from the
pcv nipple that is on the turbo elbow and it looks like it was repaired
before with some silicone glue. I put my ear by the gas tank fill hole
and coulnt hear the intank fuel pump and the outer pump is kinda loud
more then im used to from hearing the 2.3 liter engines fuel pumps.
I also checked around for vacuume leaks but none could be found.
What could cause this hesitation on acceleration?
