HEATER CONTROL VALVE UNIT

Hi everyone

Can someone answer a question about a heater control valve. I keep getting water coming into the passenger side which is obviously leaking from the valve area. It seems to happen more I believe when the valve seting is on the cold setting(could be wrong). Now the valve works well enough(interms of getting cold and hot air), but where the hell is the water coming from. Could it coming from the other side of the firewall and squeezing past the rubber seal or what.

Could it be that the plunger thing? that moves when I go from hot to cold setting is deteriorated.

Please can someone help.

Sunil
