The V-6 was no longer available in either model for 1990. Sedan vs wagon did not affect engine choices...with the possible exception of the 1984 B23FT.

Well, no. Sedans got the V6 through 1990. The 88+ wagons were only offered with the turbo four. Certainly the wagons weren't offered with the V6 in 1989, at least not according to my owner's manual.
