kick-down/shifting problem 200

You need a new one. It's not a difficult job, but it's not a quick job or a clean one. Haynes or Bentley will get you through it just fine, but make sure you buy an original Volvo or OEM cable, because you do not want to be doing this job again. You will also need a transmission pan gasket and some transmission fluid.
