240 chrome mirror and trim fits early 140? 140-160

I've got a '71 144 with the door mirror fitted to the door skin as opposed to the 244 (and I think later 144) which had the mirror fitted to the triangle part in front of the door window. Obviously the arms are different being mounted in different ways, but does anyone know if the mirror part is interchangable? There is a good pair on a local auction site, and on mine the silver behind the glass is falling off...

The same guy has an almost complete set of 240 chrome trim strips for sale, which looks about the same as on my 144. I'm just interested in the rear quarter panel strip, which should fit fine?
