Running an E Head with Carbs 140-160

I’m planning a recond of a B30 engine, with a few mods to improve power.
I have a B30E head which looks in good condition, so plan to take advantage of the bigger inlet valves and higher CR. I will also do a little smoothing of the inlet port, but nothing drastic. May add double valve springs.
I’m still planning to run carbs - the original 2x175CDs to start with, then maybe something better later on.,

What is the best way to seal the injector holes?
I’m thinking of using a bolt with head on the outside, ground flush on the inside, sealed in with gasket cement.

Also, are there any recommendations for shaping of the combustion chambers.?

I’ve read some useful stuff on the forum recently particularly in relation to valves.
Any help would be appreciated.
Brian
