Nissens Radiator and a 1998 V90 S90-V90

I just got a Nissens radiator for my 1998 V90 and upon looking at it there is a sensor on the front of my existing radiator but NO place that I can see to connect it to the new Nissens radiator. Does anyone know what that sensor is and if the FCGroton Nissens 8603739 will work?
