940 Sunroof Adjustment 900

Hello all...

I've looked through the FAQs and I haven't seen a problem exactly like mine. Here is what my sunroof (1992 940 GL)is doing:

1. Starting from a completely closed and visually correctly aligned position, I
2. Press the open toggle switch. The sunroof opens 2-3 inches (the same every time)then stops.
3. I re-press the toggle and the sunroof opens entirely w/o problem.
4. I press the close toggle and the sunroof returns to the position where it stopped previously and stops again.
5. I re-press the close toggle and it continues to close.
6. BUT... it doesn't quite close all the way. It just misses by fractions. Then I have to close it by turning the screw under the cover.
7. The rear flap works correctly from the completely closed position (done manually), but does not operate if not started from that position. Which I suppose is the way it's supposed to be. The sunroof appears to open and close equally on both sides and I don't see any problem with fitment (once I've manually closed it all the way).

Suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanking you in advance...
