85-740 stalling and running rich above idle. Problem solved! And a bit of luck at the wreckers!

I'd always expected the symptoms of a failed amm would be a car that would not start. However, in this case the car was starting fine but running rich above idle.
Nevertheless all seemed to point at the amm since the car ran ok after disconnecting the amm.
I was lucky enough to find a freshly rear ended 87 at the bone yard. The engine compartment was undisturbed. I scored the amm for just under 50 bucks. Problem solved.

The brickboard was totally silent throughout. However, the brickboard remains a godsend. What would we do with out it?

Thanks

Lawrence
