'93 240 Instrument Cluster Voltage Regulator Value 200 1993

Hey everyone. I noticed my temperature and fuel guage and speedometer were malfunctioning (my speedometer consistent read ~5mph less than it should and my temperature guage was going all over the place), and my odometer (trip and otherwise) hasn't worked in some time. I replaced the volage regulator on the instrument cluster with a 12 volt model and viola! the odometers worked, but the temperature and fuel guage both read too high (the speedometer was also probably off). I'm assuming this means the voltage regulator was bad and I just replaced it with the incorrect model. Can anyone tell me the proper voltage for the voltage regulator for the instrument cluster of a 1993 240? Am I wrong in assuming that I need a 10 volt voltage regulator? Thanks for anyone that can help me out with this.
