740 performance parts 700

I have an 1989 740 turbo wagon and I am interrested in adding some performance parts(exhaust,chip,intake,rims,lowering,more go fast stuff).I was wondering for the people that have built one up, what will give me the best performance?I wanted to put 18 inch rims on it and lower it but it is impossible to find any rims ,no matter what size.So do I have to go with so kind of spacers?Do you guys know of any good websights to get performance parts for a 740 wagon?Am I just waisting my time and money on a 740 or should I start off with a different wagon?I have been trying to find a 850r for the past 5 years but it is getting almost impossible.Any info would be app.Thanks
