Lowering front end only 200

I am happy with the ride height of the rear of my 240 wagon but would like the front lowered by at least 2 inches. Is there a simple way to do this? Am I mistaken that a person could use spring compressors and leave them on while driving? If I am, you're welcome for the laugh! Also, it seems like every car in the picture gallery that has been modified or tuned runs the same size tires & wheels all the way around. When I was into VWs most every hot car had bigs and littles. What's the deal? Lastly, what are the little clips for on the flap of the back seat (it covers the gap when the seat is folded down) They are P or b shaped and are screwed to the flap. ?
